During my recent stay at Nuevo Maragato Hotel & Hostel in San Jose, I was pleasantly surprised by the perfect blend of comfort and location. The hotel is conveniently situated on Avenida Central, putting you right in the heart of the city-ideal for a family stroll to nearby attractions like the Gold Museum and National Theatre. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast prepared by the delightful Senora Rosa, who often greeted us with a warm smile alongside a plate of fresh fruit and toast-simple yet satisfying. My daughters appreciated the cozy rooms equipped with air conditioning and a rainfall shower, just what we needed after a day of exploring. With friendly, English-speaking staff always ready to assist, we felt right at home. There's also a 24-hour reception, which was a boon for us after a late flight in. Nuevo Maragato is a fantastic find for those seeking good value and a family-friendly experience in the vibrant heart of San Jose.
